Our Caroline Street PTA is a division of the NewYork State and National PTA, and as such, as members of the CSS PTA, you are also members of the NYS PTA and the National PTA.  

We operate on a September to June calendar, with our Annual meeting taking place in May and our final meeting taking place in June. 

We ask for members to pay $20 in dues per family. $4 from each dues payment counts toward your NYS PTA membership and your access to the NYS PTA membership directory and various perks of membership. 

Our Executive Board members serve two-year terms and are elected at the Annual Meeting, assuming their position after the final meeting in June. The Executive Board is made up of two Co-Presidents, one Vice President, a Secretary, and a Treasurer. The school principal also sits on the Executive Board. 

Membership is open to all parents, teachers, staff, students, family, and community members. 

We hold quarterly meetings and need 15 members present for a quorum necessary for a vote.
